Kawanda is an advertising agency, formerly known as 1296 Designs or Ninety-six. Founded by David C. Chirwa who is currently the only staff at the company collaborating with free lancers and small creative businesses within Malawi to help businesses communicate creatively in the modern digital space. David Chirwa has been operating as a free lancer for over four years and Kawanda as a company has been operating for two years before its rebrand in December of 2022.
Our mission is to add value to products, businesses, and services through creative communication tools such as copywriting, photography, cinematography and graphic design. We believe this has been one of the major hinderances to the success of Malawian products and services locally and internationally.
As a country, we have so much value to give, we just have to present it well.
